Some times I wonder the use in pretending anything is going to change, my thoughts are stagnant and I can't stay focused on one project for any length of time and it's been that way for so long now. I have gotten into a seemingly endless rut. I spend my work days at Carmike Cinemas tearing tickets and directing an endless throng of dimwitted movie goers to their theater where they wait with baited breath to witness Hollywood’s latest abhorrent regurgitation of recycled excrement. Then it's into the auditoriums to clean up the popcorn strewn and soda soak aftermath of some movie time hoedown. The movie goers have received their fill of the latest second hand CG robots battling one another and have piled out of the auditorium leaving a mountain of disregarded litter in their wake and who do you suppose is lucky enough to clean this crap up, why none other than the friendly Carmike doorman! That helpful chap who works tirelessly to clean up your spills direct you to your movies and serve as the unofficial bitch-at, who listens to a hundred complaints on subjects which he has absolutely no control over. Like when the projectionist forgets to start the movies on time. Who is this mystery man who fights to make your movie going experience tolerable if not enjoyable? Why it's the brainiest of the Carmike employees! [link]
No it's not Kanaria, It's me ya know?! It's an easy job and it serves my purposes for the time being but needless to say it's boring and extremely repetitive. When I finally leave work each day my brain has been reduced to mush and by the time I get home I just want to lay there and do nothing. It's a vicious cycle that is slowly choking my brain and making it harder and harder to come up with new ideas. I apologize to all my friends that I have forsaken here on DA, I'm lucky if I can drag myself to come on here at least once a week. I know you've all been busy and your lives are full of trials that make mine look insignificant, people who harass and torment you at school or work, struggles with illness, trying to support a family with children and even the loss of loved ones, many of you deal with these problems and you still manage to make it on to share your latest work with every one and tell them what's going on. I wish I possessed the motivation and resilience that many of you display but alas I simply do not. Please don't think of me as gone I'm on a sojourn through a vast desert but I hope some day to return. I'll continue my occasional visits so don't feel offended if you don't hear from me for a while. I hope eventually to get out of this rut, I'll be going on vacation next week, hopefully that will provide the electricity I need to jolt my inner Frankenstein back to life.
